We are delighted to announce that, beginning Session 7, 2016, off-campus student housing for ELS/Cleveland students will be located at Hazel8 Apartments in Cleveland’s beautiful University Circle. The apartments are in the perfect location right across the street from the ELS/ Cleveland center with easy access to all the amenities of Uptown Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University campus including restaurants, shops, museums, gym, and easy access to public transportation.

Hazel8 is a new and modern apartment complex in the heart of University Circle. ELS students will enjoy spacious double rooms with large windows that accommodate two students. The apartments offer a roomy kitchen, with granite countertops and large kitchen island, and a large living space with hardwood floors in each apartment, as well as a private balcony/patio and the common courtyard with patio, grill, and outdoor fireplace. The furnished apartments also include a washer and dryer, all utilities, and internet.

Current ELS students will move from Waldorf Towers Apartments on June 25. ELS will assist students with the move and provide transportation between the locations.

Meals: Meals are not included. Students have kitchens in the apartments to prepare their own meals. Groceries may be purchased in any of the nearby grocery stores.

Key/damage deposit: $250

Security: Secure building in a safe area of University Circle Cleveland. Apartments have private entrances and an on-site manager.

Check in procedures: Students can check in at Hazel8 Apartments, at the Leasing office, on Sunday afternoon before the session begins from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. If arriving later, special arrangements can be made by contacting the Center directly.

Check out procedures: Regular check out from Hazel 8 Apartments is Saturday between 1:00 – 3:00 pm. We encourage students to confirm check out with the Center prior to departure.
